The Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum is a private, eclectic museum in Qatar housing the personal collection of Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani. Founded in 1998, the museum is located within a traditional Qatari fort at Al Samriya Farm, roughly 22 km west of Doha. The vast collection includes more than 30,000 artifacts, categorized into Islamic art, vehicles, Qatari heritage, and coins and currency.

The museum’s collection spans from the Jurassic age to the present day and is displayed across more than 30 galleries.
Vehicles: A classic car museum features more than 600 vehicles in working condition, including vintage cars, trucks, limousines, and steam cars. Some models date as far back as 1885.
Islamic art: This section features eight halls of artwork, including Islamic textiles and manuscripts. The Quran room displays many ancient copies of the Quran, as well as a kiswah, the cloth that covers the Kaaba in Mecca.
Carpets and textiles: The museum holds over 700 hand-woven carpets from different parts of the world, showcasing various weaves, dyes, and patterns.
Qatari heritage and international artifacts: Reconstructed Qatari and Syrian homes provide insight into traditional life.
The galleries also feature traditional Bedouin artifacts, ancient tapestries, and fossils.
